This plate does indeed stay securely in place, making it so easy to use. Food can be scooped and moved around as needed without sending the plate across the table or worse, onto the floor. Great for those of us with uncontrolled motions and for functional restrictions as well. The plate itself is also easy to clean and most foods just wipe or rinse right off.
